WORD OF FAITH INFANT AND CHILDCARE CENTER OUR MISSION Word of Faith Infant and Childcare Center was established in 1986 because we believe that infancy through age three, are vital to the growth and development of a child. These are called the “formative years”. This is the perfect time to, “Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it.” (Prov. 22:6) We understand that the home is the ideal place for a child to learn and grow however; this is not possible for all of our children. We, therefore, wish to serve as an extension of the home by nurturing, training, and instructing your child in a loving, safe, Christian environment. Thank you for considering our Child Care Center. Our program provides quality care in a Christian environment. We also set precedence for learning. It will be our pleasure to work with you and your child (ren). By enrolling your child (ren), we know that their experiences will be wholesome. It is our endeavor to provide the loving care and guidance needed during their formative years. AVAILABLE CARE Childcare is provided from ages 6 weeks to 3 years. An advanced Academy Program is available for eligible 3 year olds. Testing is required for this program. For more information contact the Academy office at (901) 744-4061. CURRICULUM We provide a framework and environment for learning. We purpose to develop skills, attitudes, and motivation which can enable children to grow academically, as well as emotionally, physically, socially, and spiritually. We also offer various educational and physical activities for infants to aid in the development of cognitive and motor skills, auditory, kinesthetic, and visual skills. INFANT AND CHILDCARE RECORDS All infant and childcare children must have the following information on file: Birth Certificates Immunizations (Immunizations must be current) Social Security Card Parent Agreement Form (will be issued by Childcare director) Authorized Pickup Form INFANT & CHILD CARE FEES REGISTRATION: $50.00 (Non-refundable and Non-transferable) We offer full-time and part-time care. Fees are to be paid in advance on weekly basis and are subject to a late charge. Fees are as follows: AGES   6 WKS. - 14 MOS.   - $  115.00 15 MOS. - 23 MOS.  -  $  105.00   2 YRS. - 3 YRS.      -  $  100.00 We accept DHS, and other childcare programs. Discounts are also available for families with 2 or more children enrolled. DRESS AND SUPPLIES Children are required to be dressed simply and comfortably. A supply list will be also be given upon enrollment. HOURS The Infant and Childcare Center is open five days a week from 6:00 A.M. – 6:00 P.M. Twenty-four hour (24) care may be made available upon sufficient demand. MEALS We provide nutritious meals, which consists of breakfast, lunch and snacks. However, parents must provide milk formula, baby food, cereals, etc. for their infants. STAFF Our staff is well trained and fully qualified to care for, teach and train children. TAX-EXEMPT Word of Faith Child Care Center is 501 (C) (3) tax exempt.
